SEO - Position Tracking
Positioning follow-up
Control the visibility of your content on search engines.
Track your site's ranking based on the chosen keywords.
What is your visibility on search engines? Does your site appear in relevant queries from users regarding your field of activity?
Have you gained positions after the SEO optimizations made on your site? The answers to all these questions are provided by SEO positioning tracking.
A new perspective on your web performance
Thanks to tracking the positions of your website, you discover how you are evolving within the search engine results pages. By comparing two periods, for example before and after SEO optimizations, you can perceive the real added value of the efforts made.
The observed positions also allow you to put into perspective the data collected following the analysis of your SEO traffic. Does a drop in visits from organic search explain a loss of visibility in Google, or have your results simply attracted less interest from internet users? Do your good positions gained on certain queries generate more visits and conversions on your website?
How to track positioning?
The first step to track your site’s positions is to define a list of keywords (using, for example, a semantic analysis) of relevant queries for your business. This list can be more or less extensive depending on your needs and the type of industry.
Then, using appropriate SEO tools, we collect, for the first time, the positions of your website on each of these queries at the beginning of the project. These are then retrieved at regular intervals or based on changes made to your site. It is then possible to compare the data between different periods.
